Abiquiu A contemporary remodel of an existing adobe structure. Color, form, texture, light — all are essential elements in this design. Details of stone, brick and natural elements from the site counterpoint the smooth planes of colorful plastered walls and bamboo floors. The owners love to cook and bake - hence the kitchen with two work stations, with a deep orange pizza oven in the middle.
